Realized my socket set has some annoying gaps that keep causing problems, it's an older craftsman set I bought probably 5 years ago, 1/4 and 3/8 drive, I'm missing a couple of metric sizes I need constantly, 13mm and 17mm specifically, and I can bet the 10mm disappears into another dimension every other week. I could just buy the individual sockets I'm missing, probably spend $20 plus or maybe $30 total. Or I could upgrade to a whole new set, but good complete sets are running to even $300 and that seems like a lot when most of my current sockets still work fine.
Also, do I still stick with craftsman, or other brands to be looking at? I'm just a DIY guy working on my own stuff, not a professional mechanic, I would really appreciate suggestions
