Estwing PB500

Is there anything bigger than the 17 inch Estwing PB500? I need this Burpee Pick at a larger size and I can't find any.

Is there anything bigger than the 17 inch Estwing PB500? I need this Burpee Pick at a larger size and I can't find any.

I am not familiar with rock hunting tools.

The Burpee has magnets but how are they used?

The Estwing PB500 is only 17 inches long. If you need something longer, you could check out the Paleo Pick, which is 33 inches, but keep in mind it's a different kind of tool. If you're thinking about changing the handle yourself, that's an option too

From what I know Estwing mainly sticks to that size, but you could check other brands like Truper or Council Tool for larger picks.

I faced a similar problem when my uncle and I were digging through compacted shale out west. I ended up crafting a longer handle to get better leverage. It wasn't the most attractive solution, but it did the trick until I found a Council Tool pick that suited my needs perfectly
