What brand of bolt cutter are you currently using? Looking to get quality tools so I thought of checking with everyone here. Thank you for your recommendations!
I'm using a Knipex right now and it's doing its job well, cuts clean and holds up pretty good. If you're looking for quality, HK Porter and RIDGID are also great brands to consider.
I found an old HK Porter at an estate sale, this thing has tackled rusted fencing, padlocks, and even a stuck bike chain. Yet, it still slices through like a pro. It's clearly made to withstand the test of time.
Most "premium" bolt cutters are a waste of money, unless you're cutting hardened chain daily, a mid-range brand like Tekton or Knipex easily outperforms fancy overpriced tools for general use
