Looking for a threaded cap design

I've got a weird question about dead blow hammers. I'm looking for one with a specific design. I need a hammer that has ends you can take off but not the kind with a small screw in the middle. The one I'm picturing has threads on the outside of the cap, kind of like a pipe cap, and the hammer head itself has matching threads on the inside. I once saw a show that made them this way, and I think the company was Stanley, but I can't be sure. I figure the caps will be on tight, but I hope I can get them off with some tools.

Does anyone know a manufacturer that makes a hammer like this? And do they make different end caps you can buy separately?

Check out Halder's Secural line, some models have threaded face inserts like pipe caps. You might also look at Garland or Vaughan for modular designs with replaceable ends.

Reach out to Stanley directly. Their customer service might just nail down the model you're thinking of, even if they don't make it anymore. They might even have spare parts or suggest what's similar now
