Glad to find you via ukworkshop forum. I've been using mainly hand tools, old and new, for many years for preparing timber and completing projects of various sizes. I prefer the simplicity, low noise and accuracy over machines. To me it's a bit like cycling vs driving; sometimes the boring stuff needs a machine, but the journey isn't the same.
